The Hydrostatic laboratory is primarily used for teaching the methods of determining body composition, such as hydrostatic weighing, skinfolds, and bioelectrical impedance. Equipment includes:

- Three Tanita™ lower body impedance devices
- Upper body impedance device
- Lange™ and Harpenden™ skinfold calipers
- Shower and changing room
