A limited number of Graduate Assistantships are available for qualified students. Graduate assistants must enroll in 9 - 12 hours of course work per semester, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and are responsible for 20 hours per week of service to the department. Several types of graduate assistantships are available:

  • Research assistants work with graduate faculty in conducting and analyzing research data.
  • Teaching assistants aid faculty in the instruction of laboratory classes within the Exercise Science undergraduate program.

Additional funding opportunities may be available through the Department of Athletics and University Recreation. Students may also desire to contact the Office of Student Financial Aid and the School of Graduate Studies for information regarding scholarships, fellowships, grants and loans available to graduate students.
